Super Eagles play South Africa today in a crucial Nations Cup Qualifier at  Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo. Neither Nigeria nor South Africa will take anything for granted as both teams need a win to secure maximum three points.

The Super Eagles have missed the last two editions of the continental game, one was as result of South Africa defying stance. In previous games the Super Eagles have absolutely dominated Bafana Bafana in their head-to-heads, winning eight of 12 meetings from 1992. However we do not know if the tables will turn.

Though Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr continues to have an unbeaten start to his tenure as Super Eagles boss; his mettle will be tested by the South Africans who had made it clear that they are here to win.

Bafana denied Nigeria a place in the 2015 Afcon tournament in Equatorial Guinea due to a 2-2 draw at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo. Who knows if they can pull it through this time, or will fall under the claws of the Eagles?
