Lagos State Governor-elect Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has guaranteed to pay graduates to be utilized by his quick moving toward government, as drivers of Bus Rapid Transit, BRT, between N80,000 to 100,000 month to month.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu clarified that utilizing graduates would help the state government dispose of rash BRT drivers.
The Governor-elect, who made the exposure throughout the end of the week in Ikoyi region of the state amid an intuitive session with his colleagues at the Executive Master of Business Administration class, University of Lagos, 1998/2000 set, focused on that utilizing graduates as BRT drivers would add greater respect to the calling.
Sanwo-Olu said: “The BRT issue is something that has to do with culture. When we dominate, by the Grace of God, we will publicize and check whether we can utilize a portion of our alumni as drivers.
“What I understood is that separated from the cash we will pay them, which is more than what they are paying a standard alumni, we have to in all respects rapidly tell our kin and support ourselves that there is poise in work. We will be paying (them) somewhere in the range of N80,000 and N100,000 to come and drive these transports since we anticipate significantly more goodness.
“When we get the way of life of the drivers’ correct, the courses are coming up, when we complete the Abule-Egba/Iyana Ipaja/Ikeja course, it will support the quantity of BRT (transports).”
