POLICE RESCUE 2 OUT OF 8 PERSONS KIDNAPPED IN LAGOS SCHOOL

The Lagos state police command have rescued two out of the eight persons kidnapped by suspected militants at the‎ Model College, Igbo Nla in Epe area of Lagos yesterday October 6th.

The gunmen said to be about six in number, a female included, stormed the school premises during their assembly and abducted their victims as they shot sporadically into to the air to scare away any form of resistance

Four students were among the abducted, a teacher and a vice principal of the school. Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni says efforts are being made to rescue others as more operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have been deployed to the area.
